Malls 2.0
May 27, 2009 · Leave a Comment
I’ve been involved in marketing around malls for the passed couple of years and most of the time I see extremely traditional marketing, one way, like broadcasting. What if we started to communicate and listen to our potential customers. Imagine that we had a FB club for our mall where we could meet our potential customers and ask them what shops that they would like to see, what restaurants and services tht they are missing.. I red a presentation by Sara Hunt last night where she touched some interesting stuff, like listening and communicating with your customers.
One reason is probably that all malls areinitially filled by the people who were in charge of building it..
If you’ve seen a mall 2.0, please let me know.

Global Neighbourhood – “Twitterville”
May 27, 2009 · Leave a Comment
I’ve heard of social media suddenly becomming mass collaboration tools. Things like US Film Now or Twitterwille isn’t so unusual. Social intranet like Bling or Ciscos are finding it’s way. Different Wikis based on Jimmy Wales initial thought are also beeing developed inside companies. Once the invisible wall of beeing scared to collaborate is broken down, I think that social media for real are going to enter comapnies way of working.
I see that all intranets in the near future will be more like social media, engaging staff to collaborate instead of informing them.

Youtube – The new Orwell
May 23, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Youtube has become the new Orwell
After posting my first ever Youtube movies the other day I suddenly in the text saw, Insight, learn more about … To my big supprice I saw that not only could I see how many times my movie had been watched but, I could see what sex the viewers had, Does Youtube know what sex all viewers have? Do they track my loggin name?? In that kace what sex am I when I use “kjjuc” as a logg in? Or, do they highjack my cam to look at me and if I don’t have one, are they checking out my history of surfing? They also claim to know my age, hmm.. my friends keep telling me that I look like 35 since I still have all hair and none of it is gray but, I am 42.
I started to read but, I just felt the urge to write about Youtube before I started to look into “insight” and perhaps find the most resonable reason for how they know all of this..

Do they know I'm 42 when I look like 35?
Even if I find the solution, I’m still not sure that I like it even as a researcher. Somehow I like freeedom and the webb seems less and less like freedome for every day that passes.

I work with children and Now I have an opportunity to write to you I am an
interesting, beautiful, kind and single young lady. I want to find my

Internet because my girlfriend has found the husband in the Internet

Even her mail was there dinochkakras099@yahoo.com (which I’ve mailed Yahoo about)

Please stop sending me this crap to me and everyone else! It’s enough to see how many mails I get per week regarding Viagra. Sometimes I thinkt that they must see me as a super-rabbit with a weak libido. I can tell you that even if that was the case, I’d never buy Viagra from a stranger.
Please don’t destroy internet with this CRAP!! Internet is the best thing that has happened since Adam and Ewe and we all know what happened after they ate the apple even if we don’t believe in that story.
I hope that I don’t have to write about this shit again cause it pisses me off… To you who had the energy to read this post, I most humbly bow and say thanks and welcome back.

Twitter loses 60% of it’s users monthly, true or false??
May 9, 2009 · Leave a Comment
According to Nielsen Group Twitter loses app. 60% of it’s users within a month after they’ve filled in the registration form. I find the number hard but, I undrsand that people are leaving since a lot of the text strings that comes out on twitter are pure gibbrisch. I hope to see more services like Centrl who now also are moving into the Android soon.

Looking for old friends at Facebook
May 8, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Am I to old or are my generation hopefully behind? Tonight I’ve spent three hours looking for old friends that might be interested in joining our FB club “GIRLSGOING4GOLD!” I spent more than 3 searching Google and facebook hours and i only found 1. I don’t know if that is beccause social media dosen’t appeal to this group or if they have to much other stuff on their mind? What I think is that digital social media took off after the kids born during q960-69 became parents and as we all know, it’s not that easy to get a moment for your selt.
